Austrian-born composer (1874-1951) whose development of the 'twelve-tone' system proved to be one of the most far-reaching innovations in the history of 20th century music. TLS in German, one page, 8.5 x 10.5, stamped personal letterhead, October 12, 1928. Letter to pianist Paul Aron. In part: "I am basically very happy to accept your kind invitation to perform my Suite opus 29 with you. However, adequate prerehearsal would have to be arranged because it's impossible for me to stay long enough for you to learn it from the beginning." In fine condition.
