for 1852, 12mo in printed paper wraps, 48pp., other previous owners' names on cover, Ruger's name on tp. 1854, 12mo in printed paper wraps, 52pp, no identification. 1855, 12mo in printed wraps, 51pp. 1867, 12mo in printed paper wraps, 175 pp, Ruger's identification on cover. Also, Hamersly, T.H.S. Complete Regular Army Register of the United States: for One Hundred Years, (1779 to 1870.) Washington, DC: T.H.S. Hamersly, 1880. Large 8vo with blue cloth boards, gilt title on spine, front design probably was gilt, but now worn, collation: viii, 928, 381, xxxlvi, and 43pp ads in rear. This volume lists officers of volunteers during 1861-1865, information often missing from the "standard" accounts. And Powell, William H. List of Officers of the Army of the United States from 1779 to 1900. New York: L.R. Hamersly & Co., 1900. 8vo, blue cloth boards with gilt title on spine, 863pp., ads on front and rear pastedowns. Neither hardbound has Ruger's identification in volume.

Condition: 1855 Register with water damage. 1900 "Officers" has had free endpapers removed. Both hardbound volumes have light shelfwear, sunning. All three paperbound volumes have wear to covers, toning, scuffing.
