Armoral dagger of large size possibly reduced from sword, measuring 21" overall with 16" blade. The blade shows a armorer's type stamp of an acorn; type usually associated with German arms from Nurenburg. The blade,guard and pommel show hand forging and are genuine to the period. The pommel nut has been repositioned long ago, probably when the handle was rewrapped in the 19th to early 20th century. The metal surfaces show lightto slightly heavy pitting and opening to the forged steel showing grain. A very acceptable dagger that deserves a better restoration to the wrap of grip. We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
