Inc. in South Dakota. No. 21, issued for 100,000 shares to Chambers Kellar, an attorney in Lead and company secretary, in 1909. Signed by Seth Bullock as president and Kellar. Pen cancelled. Bullock autograph pristine. Black border and print, gold seal, eagle vignette. Deep folds. The mine itself was in the Harcuvar Mountains near Wenden in central western Arizona. The company had 59 claims (Mines Handbook). Seth Bullock (July 23, 1849 - September 23, 1919) was a Canadian American frontiersman, business proprietor, politician, sheriff, and U.S. Marshal. He left Montana to start a hardware business in the booming camp of Deadwood in 1876. He arrived shortly before Wild Bill Hickock was murdered. Bullock became Deadwood's first sheriff. He was later close friends with Teddy Roosevelt.
