Manufactured in 1900. Blade and frame groove sights with the top of the barrel marked with the two line Hartford address and "45 COLT" on the left barrel side. The left side of the frame has the two line, three patent date marking next to a circled Rampant Colt. Matching serial number on the frame, trigger guard, and back strap with the assembly number "887" on the loading gate. Fitted with checkered hard rubber grips imprinted with a Rampant Colt at the tops. The included Colt factory letter confirms the serial number, caliber, barrel length, and blue finish, with the type of stocks not listed. The revolver as shipped to L. Zackendorf & Co., Tucson, Arizona, on October 12, 1900 as part of a five gun shipment. Single Action Army Revolvers shipped to Arizona are quite scarce.

Condition: Good. The revolver has a smooth brown-gray patina retaining scattered traces of original blue finish in the protected areas with some minor pitting and evidence of being cleaned some time ago. Front has been slightly trimmed. The grips are fine with some scattered minor handling marks and some wear in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically fine.
