Dowell extolling the virtues of marriage, with some foxing, paper generally toned, taped repairs present, with the usual fold creases, else good; a one page commission document, 12.5” x 7.75”, December 8, 1810, appointing Van Horn an adjutant general of the state of Ohio, with the Ohio state seal present, taped repairs present, toned, with fold creases, else very good; a one page document, 17” x 13.5”, Philadelphia, October 13, 1786, appointing Van Horn coroner of Bucks County, with Bucks County and Pennsylvania State seals present, signed by James Trimble, old taped repairs on the verso, toned with the usual fold creases, else very good; and a similar document, 15.5” x 13”, dated October 17, 1788, folded and toned, else very good. <I>Ex.
