Archive of Accounts for the 18th Century Philadelphia Schooner Nimrod, consisting of eight manuscript documents, approximately 14 pages, 4to., 1782-1784. This collection offers a fascinating look at an American merchant vessel's financial records during the waning days of the Revolution and its immediate aftermath. Wages, cargo manifests and creditors are named. The Nimrod, owned in large part by Samuel Morris & Co., appears to have primarily conveyed commodities such as flour up and down the Eastern Seaboard and over to Cuba. Small splits and stains as expected. Very good condition. From the collection of Henry E.
