<B>Archie Comics #19 Davis Crippen ("D" Copy) pedigree (MLJ, 1946) CGC VF 8.0 Off-white pages.</B></I> Here's the only copy of this issue graded above FN 6.0 by CGC to date. This is the first of only three issues to have the interesting cover blurb "This printing is over 1,256,000 magazines" (a higher number was used on #20 and #21). And it shows how popular Archie had become less than five years after his first appearance. Al Fagaly handled the cover art here, while Bill Woggon of Katy Keene fame contributed to the interior. Overstreet 2006 VF 8.0 value = $419.
