Gupta Dynasty, Chandragupta II alias Vikramaditya (375-415 CE), Gold Dinar, “Archer & Sword” type, Obv: the king standing, nimbate, facing left, is in salwar and wearing a necklace, the king holds a long bow in his left hand and arrow in his right, king has a long sword hanging off his waist on his left side, a Garuda standard on the left field, Brahmi legend “Chandra" below the king's arm, Brahmi legend "Deva Sri Maha(rajadhiraja Sri Cha)ndraguptah" around the field, Rev: the goddess Lakshmi, nimbate, facing forward and seated in the padmasana posture on a seven-petaled lotus, holding a diadem in her right hand and a lotus in her left, whose stem is coming from inside the hand resting on her thigh, a tamgha in the left field, the Brahmi legend "Sri Vikramah" in the right field, 8.29g, 18.79mm, (Variant of Altekar. Bayana Hoard # Pl. XII-4-5/TGE, S. Kumar # Class. 3- Var. S), about very fine, Very Rare for the type.
