Gupta Dynasty, Chandragupta II (Vikramaditya) (375-415 CE), Gold Dinar, "Archer" type, Obv: the king standing facing left, nimbate, wearing a tightly fitted cap, holding a longbow in his left hand and an arrow in his right, a Garuda standard in the left field, the Brahmi legend “Chandra" below the king's arm, the Brahmi legend “Deva Shri maharajadhiraja (Shri Cha)ndragupta” around the field, Rev: the goddess Lakshmi, nimbate, facing forward and seated in the padmasana posture on a beautiful 8 petaled lotus, holding a diadem in her right hand and a lotus in her left hand, whose stem is coming from inside the hand resting on her thigh, a tamgha in the left field, the Brahmi legend "Sri Vikramah" in the right field, a dotted border around the field, 7.6g, 19.07mm, (Altekar. Bayana Hoard # Pl. IX- 10/TGE, S. Kumar # Class. III-A.4), choice quality, very attractive, almost complete legend, about extremely fine, Extremely Rare.
