This is a set of Arapaho Native American Indian beaded moccasins. The set shows a 19th century glass trade seed bead sinew sewn on Indian tanned hide with parfleche soles. These are from circa 1890 and shows good condition with no bead loss. This was purchased from the King Saddlery Museum in Sheridan, Wyoming where the Ernst Family had the collection displayed.. The pieces were original collected and sold by Otto F. Ernst in the 19th century. Otto Ernst was a renowned Saddle Maker and would purchase Native American items to sell in his Saddle shop and Catalog. Otto Ernst Saddlery Sheridan, Wyoming. Each has a 10.5" l soles and 4.5" high backs. Foot topped with sheep wool for display.
