Featured in this lot is this pair of Apsáalooke Crow Parfleche stirrups circa 1870's. The stirrups feature fantastic and spacious openings with the wooden frame wrapped in Parfleche hide that is buck stitched along the bottom and shows webbing along the inside of the stirrups. The condition of these stirrups is good and well preserved for their age with excellent patina adorning the wood frame and to the outside Parfleche hide. The measurements of the stirrups are 7" x 6 1/2" x 5". Provenance: From the renowned Sundog Fine Art Bozeman, Montana collection and collected by Bruce VanLandingham. Bruce VanLandingham was a pillar in the American Indian collecting community and a respected expert. Along with being an avid collector, Bruce also was the sole owner of Sundog Fine Art Gallery in Bozeman, which was both part museum and gallery. Identification#: 1032
