Rare 2003 color 24 x 36 Apple Computer promotional poster for the launch of AppleMusic.com, the company's first music distribution system, which features a Gibson ES-345 electric guitar against a white background; the guitar would later become better known as the 'Garage Band' icon. Rolled and in fine condition. This poster derives from the personal collection of a former employee of Apple Computer, Inc. AppleMusic.com was a short-lived music website that was replaced soon after launch by iTunes. In May 2003, this poster image appeared as promo ads on the back covers of several well-known magazines. Eventually these ads disappeared and were replaced by the iTunes Store, with Apple Computer and Apple Corps squaring off over the use of the new name.
