Scarce Apollo Mission Simulator Maintenance and Repair Procedures Manual, General Precision Inc., Section VIII, housed in a three-ring binder, measuring 10.25 x 11.5, and full of schematic diagrams. Beginning of the manual states “The Apollo Mission Simulator Visual System is designed to provide the astronaut with realistic "out the window" displays such as would be experienced during any phase of an actual Apollo mission. Simulation of the earth, moon, stars, spacecraft (in two windows) and other true to life images ranging from five feet to infinity is accomplished optically and electronically...The scenes viewed through the telescope and sextant duplicate the scenes...which might be viewed from the operational spacecraft in size, general appearances and relative distance.” In very good condition with overall toning. First time we have seen this volume.
