Uncommon pairing of an Apollo–Soyuz embroidered patch and Beta cloth swatch, 4˝ in diameter and 5 x 5, both of which are affixed to their respective 14 x 9.25 certificate presented to Robert B. Flanagan by the American and Soviet crews of the Apollo–Soyuz Test Project for his participation in the “Postflight Tour of the United States, October 13, 1975–October 25, 1975” and of the “Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, September 20, 1975–October 5, 1975.” Both the certificates and the Beta cloth are signed in black ink by Alexei Leonov, Valeri Kubasov, Tom Stafford, Vance Brand, and Deke Slayton. The certificates are mounted and framed to an overall size of 17.75 x 21.75. In overall fine condition. An impressive set of fully signed certificates from the Space Race-ending mission—these 'post-flight' map examples are decidedly uncommon.

Originates from the personal collection of longtime NASA employee Robert B. 'Stretch' Flanagan, a Senior Security Specialist who accompanied the Apollo astronauts on their post-flight goodwill world tours. He was nicknamed ‘Stretch’ on account of his 6´6˝ height.
