Red metal wrist disconnect produced by Air-Lock for the Apollo space suit, measuring 5? in diameter and 1? thick, engraved with part numbers, “Assy 9120, SN-114, Assy A6L-104037-06.” This part number is listed in the official ILC Parts List for the A7L space suit dated September 9, 1970. This particular disconnect has white plastic locking tabs, and was probably used for some special evaluation; otherwise it is typical of the glove disconnects used on the model A7L Apollo suits. In very good to fine condition, with expected wear. This disconnect has been authenticated by Bill Ayrey, company historian at ILC Dover, the manufacturer of the Apollo, Shuttle, and Space Station suits, and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity.
