Collection of post-flight remnants from six Apollo Command Modules, consisting of numerous pieces of Mylar foil pieces from Apollo missions 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 14, as well as a piece of room temperature vulcanized (RTV) silicone from the Apollo 8 CSM-103, charred heat shield remnants from the Apollo 12 CSM-108, and a set of four ablative plugs from the Apollo 14 CSM-110. In overall fine condition. Accompanied by an additional bag of Mylar and heat shield remnants from an unknown flight. From the personal collection of Paul Kruppenbacher, a member of the NASA Houston Landing and Recovery Division who trained Apollo astronauts in water recovery procedures and was deployed on U.S. Navy aircraft carriers for crew and spacecraft recovery operations.
