Top and bottom plates designed for the Block II Apollo Guidance Computer (AGC), both made of a lightweight alloy (likely magnesium) and featuring gridded honeycomb patterns. The top plate measures 21.75? x 12.5? x .5?, and the bottom plate measures 24.25? x 12.5? x .25?. Both cover plates retain their inherent rubber gaskets, designed to hermetically seal the computer's components inside. This may be a prototype or test design, as the flown configuration of the AGC used plates with X-shaped patterns. In fine condition.
