A .75 x .75 swatch of Kapton foil removed from the Apollo 8 command module after its return to Earth. Foil is encased in a 3” diameter Lucite disc imprinted with the crew names and mission date. An attractive flight-flown item from one of the most important Apollo missions, as Apollo 8 was the first human space flight to leave Earth orbit and orbit the moon.
