Tiny fragment from the flight-flown parachute canopy flown onboard Apollo 7 and that helped the spacecraft float safely down to Earth. Measuring approximately .25” in length, the relic is encased in clear plastic measuring 3 x 3.75 x 1. A small card within the case reads: “This is a [sic] actual piece Of FLOWN Main Parachute Canopy fabric removed from the Apollo 7 Command Module after it returned from it’s [sic] Earth-Orbit Mission.”
