The rocket mail is cancelled at Nixon, Nevada on 11 October 1968, and stamped: ''Flown in Rocket 2 / The Donn Eisele, At Pyramid Lake, Nevada / To Honor The First Manned Apollo Flight''. A Rocket Research Institute label is affixed to upper left. NASA's Apollo 7 mission was the first to be successfully televised as the crew practiced docking, rendezvous, and transposition.
