During Apollo 17's stay on the Moon, the astronauts made a total of three moon walks. This very page is the one used by Gene Cernan and Harrison Schmidt to open the hatch, lower their helmet visors, and then leave the lunar module and step onto the Moon for their second moonwalk! This moonwalk was also the next to last ever made by Man on the Moon to date. Identified as page number 4-7 and dated September 12, 1972, the page measures 8 x 5.5, bears Cernan's signed flight-certification stamp, and is removably-affixed to a deluxe 13 x 19 inch presentation mount bearing a portrait of Cernan holding the checklist from which this page originated. In fine condition, with three punch holes to top edge. An astonishingly unique piece of NASA history…direct from the moon!
