Section of the Today newspaper, "Florida's Space Age Newspaper," 14 pages, 15.25 x 11.5 (folded), signed on the front cover in black ink, "Gene Cernan," "Ron Evans," and "H. H. Schmitt." The front cover image shows the dramatic nighttime launch of the Apollo 17 mission with caption: "A Beautiful Shot in the Dark." In fine condition, with intersecting folds.

Originates from the personal collection of longtime NASA employee Robert B. 'Stretch' Flanagan, a Senior Security Specialist who accompanied the Apollo astronauts on their post-flight goodwill world tours. He was nicknamed ‘Stretch’ on account of his 6´6˝ height.
