Small ring of bungee strap metal, .25˝ in diameter, attested to as originating from a flown bungee strap that was carried to the moon during the Apollo 16 mission. The ring is encased in a limited edition Lucite block, numbered 29/40, measuring 3.25˝ x 4˝ x 1˝. In fine condition.

Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Florian Noller, who asserts that the piece “was originally owned by Apollo 16 commander John Young.” Also included are two copies of a 2009 letter from Young, who writes: “I hereby certify that the bungee strap with hooks that accompanies this letter, serial number V36-601171-21, was flown to the moon aboard Apollo 16.”
