Two items: Apollo 14 prime recovery ship commemorative cover, bearing a cachet honoring the Apollo 14 recovery force, signed in blue ink by Edgar Mitchell and also signed by two members of the recovery force; and a limited edition color 10 x 8 cardstock photo of President Kennedy presenting the Distinguished Service Medal to Shepard, numbered 1162/2500, signed in black felt tip by Shepard. Photo is matted to an overall size of 14 x 11. Both items are shrink-wrapped to a mount, along with four snapshot photos from Shepard’s Mercury mission, and a descriptive sheet for his photo, to an overall size of 28 x 22. In fine condition.
