Flown embroidered 179th Tactical Fighter Group patch, 4.75 x 5, one of just twelve carried on board Apollo 13 by Fred Haise. Includes a letter of authenticity signed by Haise, one page, 8.5 x 11, in part: “I hereby warrant and certify that the accompanying 179th Tactical Fighter Group patch was carried to the moon on LM-7 'Aquarius' during the aborted Apollo 13 Mission flown April 11–17, 1970. I had served with this Ohio ANG unit during my early NASA career as a Research Pilot at Lewis Research Center.” In fine condition. Provenance: Heritage, April 2013.
