<B>Apollo 13 Flown U.S. Flag.</B></I> This printed 6" x 4" American flag was flown on Apollo 13 to the moon by lunar module pilot Fred Haise. The flag has been mounted on a mat board and framed to an overall size of 9.75" x 11.5". Haise has penned a brief authentication on the matte board: "<I>To Jerry & Jo Ann</B></I> <I>A Momento</B></I> [sic] <I>Given in Appreciation for Your Help and Support during the Flight of Apollo 13. This American Flag Flown to the Moon April 11-17, 1970 on Odessey</B></I> [sic] <I>/Aquarius. Thanks, Fred Haise</B></I>." The flag is accompanied by a second letter of authentication handwritten and signed by JoAnn Carr, wife of astronaut Gerald Carr, commander of Skylab 4 (SLM-3) and part of the ground support crew for Apollo 12.
