Color 7 x 9.5 photo, affixed to an off-white 10 x 12 mount, of the commemorative plaque affixed to the LM Descent Stage ladder of the Apollo 11 lunar lander, and eventually left on the surface of the moon by Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, signed in black felt tip on the mount by Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins, and Buzz Aldrin. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from the son of the original recipient stating, “This [was] obtained from my father who was Chief Master Sergeant aboard Air Force One. My father was part of the crew of Air Force One that took the Apollo 11 astronauts on their around the world tour after the mission. This autograph was signed in person aboard Air Force One…My father and I are the only people to have had access to the photo.” In very fine condition. Pre-certified Scott Cornish and RRAuction COA.
