Original remnant of silver-colored Kapton foil from the outer skin of the Apollo 11 command module Columbia, approximately .75 x .75, suspended within a 3-inch tall sloped piece of Lucite with an image of the Apollo 11 emblem. This very material helped keep the Apollo 11 crew safe as they returned from their historic mission.
