Three items used by Apollo 11 crew members Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin during their training for walking on the moon: a white linen cloth bag, with a red felt tip “4,” written on it; a 2” rock sample, and a small vile of fine sand. Bag is framed to an overall size of 10.5 x 8.5, and the rock and vile are framed (without glass) and with a small descriptive plaque, to an overall size of 7.75 x 5.5. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Mike Weberlow, attesting to the bag’s use by Armstrong and Aldrin, who received the bag from a NASA representative, as well as a second certificate regarding the dust, which was originally recovered from the bottoms of several sample bags used by Armstrong and Aldrin.
