Uncommon 17.5 x 22.5 NASA poster for the successful recovery of the Apollo 10 mission, which shows rescue helicopters and the Command Module during splashdown, with bold text below: "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown!" Rolled and in very good to fine condition, with multiple horizontal folds, and some damage to the left edge and upper left corner. The connection between the Apollo program and the Peanuts comic strip is well documented. The call signs for the Apollo 10 spacecraft were the names of characters Charlie Brown and Snoopy, the semi-official mascots of the famed 'dress rehearsal' Apollo mission, and Peanuts creator Charles Schulz also drew some mission-related artwork for NASA. From the personal collection of Paul Kruppenbacher, a member of the NASA Houston Landing and Recovery Division who trained Apollo astronauts in water recovery procedures and was deployed on U.S. Navy aircraft carriers for crew and spacecraft recovery operations.
