Apache style double action pinfire revolver showing high quality engraving, ivory grips and original pipe case all circa 1860s. The revolver remains in very good to near fine original condition showing lightly cleaned bright metalsurfaces with nicely aged original grips showing some slight shrinkage due to age. The revolver is six shot and approximately 7.65 mm pinfire and measures 5” overall with slightly under 2” cylinder/barrel group. The pistol is containedwithin its original to the 19th-century pipe case with velvet and satin lining and leather cover. The condition of the case is very good with normal aging and some small losses around the latch area. These pipe cased mid-19th century Frenchstyle pocket-size revolvers are always desirable especially when ornamented. Est.: $900-$1800
