From the Collection of Nick and Suzanne Nicholas we have an Apache Ceremonial Beaded Gan Dancer Tie, beautifully beaded in vibrant hues of orange-black-white-baby blue-yellow-green-cobalt blue-red and brown, measures 16''L x 11''W and features the Apache Gan Dancer, there are two 12'' beaded loops on each side of the center beaded flap, the ties are ribbon and rawhide strips, the base of the beaded flap is accented with beaded fringe, the tie depicts the Gan Dancer amidst saguaros and prickly pear cactus, Apache masked ''Gan Dancer '' or mountain spirit, representing a benevolent spirit and and is dancing to remove the evil spirits or ''evil ones''. Four dancers participate in the dance and represent the four cardinal points of the universe, quite a work of art
