Esteemed Czech composer (1841–1904) of orchestral and chamber music, best known for his Symphony No. 9, ‘From the New World.’ Rare 4.25 x 6.5 cabinet photo of Dvorak, signed at the bottom of the image, “Ant. Dvorak,” with an additional dedication to a woman in Czech. Published by Josef Mulac of Prague. Mild spotting to image and a crease to the upper right corner tip, otherwise fine condition. A highly desirable autograph rare in any form.
