Composer and conductor (1883-1945) at theaters in Vienna, Danzig, Prague, and elsewhere. ALS in German, signed “Webern,” on a 6 x 4.25 postcard, February 22, 1938. Letter to his colleague Weirich in Vienna whom he is asking to replace some performances. In part: “I am glad to take your rehearsal on Friday from 7.25-10.10 pm and ask you therefore to take my rehearsal on Saturday on 7:25 pm until end.” In fine condition, with some scattered light toning and soiling, and some light creasing to top corners. Lightly affecting a few words of text.
