German actor in the Oberammergau Passion Play (1875-1938) and an outspoken critic of Nazi Germany. Vintage matte-finish 8.25 x 10.75 photo of Lang as Jesus Christ from the Oberammergau Passion Play, signed in fountain pen, “Anton Lang, Juin 19, 1910.” Photo is affixed to a slightly larger sheet of cardstock. In very good condition, with light silvering to edges and darker areas, lightly trimmed edges, and some light surface loss along top portion of background.
