The auctioneers may, at their discretion, modify any description or statement in the catalogue. Our catalogue descriptions of pictures require some explanation:
1. Forename and surname of the artist in our opinion is the work of that artist.
2. Initials of forename followed by surname of the artist in our opinion is the work of the period of the artist which may be in whole or in part his work.
3. Surname only is in our opinion a work of the school of the artist or in his style and of uncertain date or attribution.Estimates where supplied are for guidance only.
