This is a very traditional Chinese musical instrument (musical stick). This singing stick is used when singing a "read song" (modern day we call rap song). Normally this is a village song, most of the time it talks about "life". The singer click the wood stick in between finger, then swing the sticks, when the stick hit each other it make the noise "tik" "tik" "tik". The wood requirement for this instrument is very important, a solid hard wood will make a very good noise. This piece is made with HuangHwaLi wood / Yellow rosewood. </p>
USA domestic continental buyers of 48 states pay $10 shipping (buyers of Hawaii, Alaska, US Islands, and Canada pays the exact shipping cost). Insurance and handling charges are already included in the shipping cost. In store pick up is highly welcomed if you are in the San Francisco Bay Area!
