Antique sword from the American Revolution circa 1770. The sword is in overall very good condition with a 29” blade and overall length of 34”. The blade is of French manufacture while the handle and hand guard are of American construction. Theblade shows numerous hallmarks and markings. The blade has taken on a pleasing grey patina with several dings and sharpening during the period of use. The wire wrapped leather grip, brass pommel and hand guard are all in very good condition aswell. A beautiful old sword from the Revolutionary War. Est.: $1,250-$2,500.
