Antique long knife with sheath, approx. 14” overall with a 9-1/2” scalloped blade marked “Joseph Rodgers & Sons, Cutlers to Her Majesty, * +” with a V crown R over the maker’s marking. The knife is in overall good condition with a grey patina, minor spots of erosion, simple cross guard, checkered marine ivory scales on the grip. The leather covered sheath is overall good with metal throat missing clip or button and the metal tip. Ex-George Taylor collection. Est.: $1,500-$3,000.
