Antique coach-size flintlock blunderbuss signed “H. Nock, London” with bell mouth brass cannon style barrel, in overall very good original condition. This firearm measures approx. 27-1/2” overall with a 12” barrel measuring 1-1/2” across the flats with an approximate 1-1/8” bore diameter. The lock shows traces of case hardening drifting to patina with all original parts; the mounts show light engraving with stands of arms, bows and arrows and lances; the brass barrel, trigger guard and mounts show an un-cleaned patina. The stock is good to very good with minor dings, mars and slight imperfections; a brass tipped old ramrod is included and is of the proper style. A very nice and completely original blunderbuss circa 1800-1815, by a well-known English maker. Est.: $2,800-$3,800.
