<td width="100%">
Fabulous antique Staffordshire earthenware tea bisquit jar. (also called a cracker jar). This jar looks kind of small in the pictures, but is actually a very good size jar. Has incised: EPNS Made in England lid, (electroplated nickel silver aka silver plate). Bottom is backstamped in brown: With Peek, Frean & Co's Compliments, crown symbol, S.F. & Co. England, and an initial; and there is a raised square with a number in it. (S. Fielding & Co., Stoke, Staffordshire). No chips or cracks; but does have some crazing. The floral design appears to be transferware with hand painting. It stands 6 tall; top rim is 4.5 wide. There is some wear on the upper metal rim, but overall, this item is in 'good antique' condition and the lid cleaned up very nicely. You're worth it aren't you?
