<td width="100%">
It is our pleasure to offer a truly magnificent and regal porcelain plaque by Sevres. It portrays the intimate frient of Marie-Antoinette, la Princess de Lambelle.

She was butchered and her head placed on a pike and marched past the cell of the Queen. It is told that this horrid vision turned Marie-Antoinette's hair white.

This plaque is surrounded by the original gilt bronze frame-unfortunately the rear support is missing.

Associated with the restoration of the monarchy after the fall of Napoleon in 1815.
Actual placque measures 10 by 7 inches , measurement above is with frame.

Impressed mark of "250"in the back. There is a companion piece also listed on GO Antiques. Number TPA- 000252.
