This is an antique beaded knife sheath with old trade/skinning knife. The sheath is a Plains piece, with crosses and other geometric designs. It is fully beaded on one side with green, yellow and red beads and is sinew sewn. It dates back to the early 1900s or even the late 1800s. It also includes a period correct skinning knife. MAKER: Unmarked. APPROX AGE: Circa late 1800s - early 1900s. SIZE: Sheath measures 2-3/4 inches wide X 9 inches long. Knife measures 4-5/8 inch blade, overall length is 8-1/2 inches. CONDITION: Good for its age, normal wear expected.
