Here is a true antique pipe tomahawk made circa the early 1800s. This is a hand forged pipe tomahawk with original wood stem. Long used as a gift of diplomacy by government officials, the pipe tomahawk was a favorite gift to bestow upon important Native American leaders during times of settlement. Although not as decorative as the "re-pops" these truly older ones are a hard find and much more valuable! It also includes the stand pictured. MAKER: Unmarked. APPROX AGE: Circa early 1800s.
