Description: Offered in this lot is an antique, percussion cap musket/rifle. Markings are scarce on this one, but it appears to be an approx. .70 cal. Prussian musket which was modified. We are selling this as an antique / curio item and not warranted safe to shoot. No FFL paperwork required on this antique, black powder rifle which was made pre-1898. We will only ship this item to the United States and only where it is legal to do so. Please know your local/state laws before buying. Maker: Unknown. Approx. Age: Circa early 1800s. Size: Barrel measures approximately 33 1/4” with an overall length of 48 1/2”. Condition: Fair for its age, wear expected. Modified from original. Please look closely at the pictures - they are an important part of our description. Shipping: There will be a $15 handling / packaging fee for shipping this lot. The actual cost of postage will be added on top of that.

This charge is in addition to the cost of postage and if several items are purchased by one person, going the same place, we will discount the handling / packaging charges based upon volume and difficulty of the items to ship. Firearms: Any person(s) bidding on firearms in our auction are required to be at least 18 years of age for long guns and 21 years of age for hand guns. Western Trading Post llc. is a licensed and practicing Federal Firearms Licensed (FFL) dealer. Any Bidders who desire to bid on and purchase any firearms in our auctions cannot have been convicted of a felony, have any restraining orders, or have any reason that they would not pass a NICS FFL Background Check. Western Trading Post llc. reserves the right to run a NICS FFL Background check on any purchaser of firearms. If the Bidder is a resident of the state of Arizona, they may pick up in person once cleared by the NICS FFL Background check. Otherwise, firearms will be shipped to a Federal Firearm Licensed Dealer of your choosing nearest your residence. The Buyer agrees to pay for any and all shipping/handling/fees/etc. necessary for the shipping and transfer of any firearms. Antique firearms and black powder replica which are exempted from NICS FFL background checks can be transferred directly to the purchaser (where legal to do so).
