This lot features an antique overland stage coach in a case with velvet lined bottom. Overland Stage Line was a stagecoach and wagon trail in the American West during the 19th century. While portions of the route had been used by explorers and trappers since the 1820s, the Overland Trail was most heavily used in the 1860s as an alternative route to the Oregon, California, and Mormon trails through central Wyoming The stage coach model is bases on original coaches and is in good condition with only two missing screws on the back. It was constructed here in Montana by Great Falls furniture. The overall condition of the piece is good for its age. Measures: 17" H x 22 1/2" W x 13 1/2" D (From the Dean Yearout Estate)
