Born in Ohio on Oct. 22, 1885. Fiedler studied at the Cleveland School of Art and University of Pennsylvania. After settling in Pasadena in 1919, he studied with Jean Mannheim. During WWII he taught for two years at Occidental College. His studio in Pasadena was formerly that of Benjamin Brown. As an architect, he served for 17 years on the Pasadena City Planning Commission. He died there on Oct. 20, 1960. His work includes desert landscapes and scenes of Mexico, Arizona, and Taos.
