Barber Chair and Stool from the Tom Ford classic, "My Darling Clementine" (1946), starring Henry Fonda as Wyatt Earp. Considered by many to be one of the greatest films of all time. This is the "newfangled" barber chair where Wyatt gets his shave at the Bon Ton Tonsorial Parlor when he first arrives in Tombstone. The chair stands as a symbol of civilization in the otherwise wild frontier town -- the clash of these two forces being one of the film’s central themes. Wyatt is lathered for his shave when shots come through the window and shatter the mirror. He is not pleased: "What kind of a town is this anyway? Excuse me ma'am. A man can't get a shave without gettin' his head blown off."

Chair measures 52" high by 27 1/2" wide by 25 1/2" deep. Beneath the seat is marked "2-19-43 - 20 C-Fox - 32-1-18747". Also includes the matching stool/leg-rest, measuring 24" high by 22 1/2" deep. Beneath the leg-rest is marked "2-19-43 - 20 C-Fox - 32-1-18750"
