Description: An amazing, antique Mexican sombrero. A great piece of history. It supposedly hung in the La Fonda in Santa Fe for many years (originally it was from the estate of a man who worked for the Fred Harvey chain). Maker: Faded tag inside says ‘Gerardo Warnholtz and Co.’ Approx. Age: Circa late 1800s. Size: Sombrero measures 18” in diameter x 10 1/2” tall. Condition: Pretty good for its age, but wear and fading should be expected. Please look closely at the pictures - they are an important part of our description. Shipping: There will be a $8 handling / packaging fee for shipping this lot. The actual cost of postage will be added on top of that.
